Micron has paused construction of its $4.5 billion memory-chip plant in Taoyuan, Taiwan, amid a labor dispute, according to people familiar with the matter cited by Bloomberg, with the site originally scheduled to begin production in 2028. Micron said Taiwan remains important to its global operations and that existing operations are running normally; Taiwan accounts for about 60% of the company&\x27;s DRAM output.
